Mecklenburg County DSS is the county department that handles adoption from the North Carolina foster care system.

Adopt US Kids offers an extensive database of children in U.S. foster care available for adoption and families who are home studied and approved to adopt them.

Foster Village creates connection with dignity for children and families experiencing foster care by meeting urgent needs, providing educational and emotional support, and advocating as a collective community voice for children.  We are so fortunate to have them serving our Charlotte community.
