Hannah Booker, LCMHC, NCC

Adoption Therapist

Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience working clinically with children, teens, and their families. She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from North Carolina State University and a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

She has experience working with children ages 3-17 dealing with a variety of concerns including anxiety, adjustment, grief, depression, trauma, difficulty with emotion regulation, and parent/caregiver-child relationship concerns. Her primary focus is anxiety and trauma work with children ages 3-12. Hannah is in the process of completing additional training and supervision to become a Registered Play Therapist. She believes play facilitates therapeutic growth in developmentally appropriate ways and helps mitigate the difficulties children experience in addressing strong emotions and trauma.
I believe in partnering with parents and caregivers to support their children. In doing so, I strive to provide the same level of empathy, understanding, and compassion to them as I give to their children.
Hannah was born and raised in North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and friends playing board games, and spending time in nature hiking and kayaking.
