Ashtyn Cole, LCSW-A
Program Coordinator
Ashtyn Cole is a LCSW-A who received both her Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Child Development along with her Master of Social Work from Appalachian State University. She currently works as a School-Based Mental Health Professional at Cano Family Services, providing outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling. She has also interned with Foster Village Charlotte, facilitating emotional support group therapy for current foster and kinship families.
My first experience with adoption came during high school. I conducted a research paper on the state of foster care in North Carolina and knew I had found my passion. Throughout college and my master's degree, I centered every assignment around foster care and adoption. When it came time for my master's practicum I learned about a local graduate internship with Foster Village Charlotte. My time there allowed me to develop a passion and love for the community that surrounds the system.
Hannah loves spending time outside with her husband Jacob, and their dog, Paisley. She is excited to partner with the Adoption Support Alliance and grow this village. She believes providing the space to enable connection and belonging in children is such special work, and is honored to play a role in that connection.Â
