About the Event
Are you unsure what phrases to use to share your child's adoption story with them? Do you feel uncomfortable when your child starts to ask questions? Do you have an open adoption that, at times, complicates the conversations you are having?
PART ONE: Join Erin Nasmyth, LCSW and adoption-competent therapist, as she answers the question "Why do I need to talk to my kid about adoption?" and "How do I start?"
PART TWO: Part two of this course will be led by the amazing team at POST Resource. POST is an adoptee-owned post placement services company created to bring connection to the entire adoption constellation through tools, resources, and education via their Connection Boxes and Subscription Services. Co-founders Claire Hudson and Andie Coston are both friends of ASA - Claire has spoken at our Adoptee panels and Andie is a LCSW who interned with us while she lived in Charlotte.
