Connect & Play (transracial adoptees)

After the success of pilot Connect & Play Group in the Fall of 2023, we are excited to expand our Connect & Play offering.  Since space is limited, we ask that if your child has participated in Connect & Play previously, that you not register for this session as we want as many families as possible to have the opportunity to participate.  This group is specifically for kids who were TRANSRACIALLY adopted.  If your child was not transracially adopted, please check out our second Connect & Play offering.  

Group will meet monthly on Mondays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm on March 4, April 8 & May 6.  We ask that, if you register your child, he or she is able to attend all three groups (barring last-minute illness, of course) to create some consistency with participation and allow each month's content to build on previous groups.  The 90 minute sessions will include children's books on adoption issues and/or social-emotional learning, an art project related to the story and free play in the amazing playroom, sensory play studio and the contained, outside playground at FVC's Connection Cottage. 

The cost for this group will be $125 (for all three sessions) per child.  However, thanks to our generous donors, this will be a "Pay What You Can group.  We will limit the group to six children.
