About the Event
Adoption Support Alliance clinician classes are an opportunity for community members to learn from adoption-competent clinicians in the Charlotte area. The content of these classes will focus on a therapeutic approach or model often used in therapy to help adoptive families. Participants in our Clinician Classes will leave with practical tools and skills that can be implemented right away in order to enhance their family’s functioning and will have a better understanding of the clinical services available to them in Charlotte.
On Monday, May 16th, we will continue our Clinician Class series with Amanda Zaidman, LCSW. Utilizing her formal training and years of experience as a social worker, she will educate parents about the Internal Family Systems therapy model as well as the somatic connection to our daily responses.
