About the Event
Adoption Support Alliance is offering an informative course led by co-founder & Executive Director, Erin Nasmyth, LCSWÂ for anyone considering growing their family through adoption. Get help navigating the decisions that the process requires, hear from parents who have recently completed an adoption and meet others who are getting started.Â

Topics covered include the logistics of the domestic & international adoption process (including the home study process, post-placement requirements and the laws governing the processes) as well as things to consider when starting your adoption journey (grief & trauma, race & culture and birth family relationships).

Please complete the registration form below. Class will be held on Sunday, August 14th from 2 to 5 PM. We are fortunately able to offer both in-person and virtual attendance options. Â The location will be determined closer to the start date of the class when we have an idea of the number of registrants. Â
Payment can be made via PayPal link on our website, Venmo, Zelle or by writing a check to "Adoption Support Alliance" and mailing it to 1501 East 7th Street, Unit 6 Charlotte, NC 28204.  Registration is due one week prior to class, August 7th.  We will need a minimum of four families to register in order to hold the class.  If we do not have enough participation, your payment will be refunded fully. If more than one person is attending from a family (i.e. two partners who will co-parent), only one registration is required.Â
If you are unable to attend the group event and/or you would prefer to discuss these topics in a one-on-one format, we also offer individual sessions based upon availability and would be happy to discuss this alternative with you. Â Please email info@adoptionsupportalliance.org with any questions or concerns.
