Adoption Support Alliance's Kids Club is for elementary school students who joined their family through adoption (any kind of adoption!). The camp will be co-led by a licensed clinical social worker with extensive training and experience in the adoption field.  Kids Club activities will incorporate creativity and conversation daily through art activities, therapeutic games, adoption education and connection with one another.  Through our time together, we will normalize adoption as a way to form a family, learn more about adoption topics and empower children, at an appropriate developmental level, to embrace their identities as adoptees.  Parents of ASA's Kids Camp participants will be given a guide to prepare their child for the Kids Club experience in advance and daily conversation guides based on these day's activities to encourage conversation at home.
