Fall Photo Fundraiser

Save the date for our 7th Annual Fall Photo Fundraiser on
October 16th, 2022! 

 
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Old Haigler Inn to host our 2022 photo fundraiser.  This event serves as one of our greatest fundraisers as we work with generous photographers to provide you with photographs to last a lifetime.  While traditionally families have used this wonderful opportunity to capture moments with their family, our photographers are also able to offer the sessions for professional headshots, maternity photos, family pet portraits, adoption profile images or any other creative needs you desire.

The timing is perfect to secure pictures for your holiday cards or gifts ahead of time!  The sooner that you sign-up the sooner you will also receive early access to sign up with your preferred photographer and time of choice.

We are currently seeking out the sponsors, photographers and volunteers for our 2022 event.  If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please select the corresponding "Become a Sponsor" button below to learn more.  If you are interested in donating your services as a photographer, please click the "Interested Photographer" button to contact us directly about the next steps.  Lastly, if you or your teen children are looking for volunteer opportunities, we will have 2 hour slots available throughout the event as well to support us.

We have selected a wonderful new venue nestled in the countryside just minutes from downtown. Old Haigler Inn is comprised of a collection of uniquely designed and meticulously curated properties, designed to cultivate conversation, encourage rest, and focus on your restoration. We will have exclusive access to a portion of this beautiful historic property for our families to create many memories together.  It is an inspirational setting for our photographers with plenty of room for social distancing, a great location to gather (if it's safe to do so) and easy parking. The whole team is wonderful and we are so excited to be able to share this new location with you soon.

In the midst of 2020 and 2021, we were fortunate to be able to partner with Alexander Homestead to host our annual photo fundraiser in a safe and conscientious manner.  Their wonderful accommodations provided our photographers and families with beautiful backgrounds as well.  We are always excited to partner with highly skilled photographers, including many who choose to come and support us each year.  Below is just a small sample of some of their wonderful work and some of our beautiful community members from October 2021.

Ugh!  We know that COVID-19 has thrown a wrench into everyone's plans in the last couple of years. It comes to no surprise to you, I'm sure, that it has affected our planning for these events too!

Just like the last 2 years, we are making accommodations to the event structure to ensure the safety
of event attendees and volunteers to the best of our ability.  Plans for the event will be based on the current recommendations by the CDC as well as state mandates and final determinations will be made closer to the event. We will work closely with the event staff at Old Heritage Inn as they are extremely well-versed in hosting events safely.  For example, we are considering a requirement for 
masks (except for in pictures, unless that's the look you are going for), not serving food or drink and/or escorting families directly to their scheduled photo shoot for pictures and then back to the car to limit interactions.  If we cannot feel comfortable holding an event safely (or, of course, if the event is not allowed), we will reschedule the event for a later date when it is safe to do so. Trust that throughout the process your safety is of our utmost concern!
 
We will communicate all our final planning in advance of the event and will be issuing full refunds if anyone gets sick or no longer feels safe attending based on our changes.  

All photographers and event participants will be encouraged not to attend the event if they
are symptomatic or have been exposed to anyone within two weeks of the event who is positive
for Covid-19.  As such, we will ask that all participants be prepared to be flexible in terms of the schedule and photographer preferences.  Again, if changes occur due to coronavirus that are outside of our control and you no longer want to participate in the event, we will refund your payment in full.
